iGaming affiliate disclosures: clear and responsible
A good affiliate disclosure makes the commercial relationship easy to understand before someone interacts with a link. In iGaming, that clarity should sit alongside age-appropriate targeting and responsible-gambling messaging.

Say what the relationship is
Use direct language such as: “This post contains an affiliate link. I may earn commission if you register through it.” Adapt the wording to the format and rules that apply to your platform and market.
The important part is clarity, not a particular phrase. Avoid vague labels that an ordinary viewer would not understand, and do not hide disclosure text in a place where it is unlikely to be seen.
Place the disclosure with the recommendation
A disclosure is most useful close to the affiliate link, call to action or endorsement. For a video, that may mean a spoken disclosure and visible text; for a post, it may mean a clear line immediately before the link.
If a platform has native paid-partnership or age-restriction controls, use them where appropriate. Those controls support disclosure but do not replace your responsibility to write honest content.
Pair transparency with safer-gambling context
Do not suggest gambling is an investment, a job or a way to recover losses. Keep the audience adult-only and include a responsible-gambling reminder in formats where it can be shown clearly.
